"Rumored to have grown up in the wilds of Northern Illinois, Jon Dickson is said to have made his first skateboard out of wood from his childhood home, with acorns for wheels. As a child, Dickson would pretend to strum the board like a guitar, singing whispery songs about outer space to his dog. The loner skater became the stuff of legend, known for appearing sporadically across the globe, even sighted in Europe indulging in many lettuce wraps and jazz cabbage. It is said Dickson now lives a monastic existence out west in a house made of rare vinyl LPs and zero wax-- Some say that he vanished into oblivion, leaving behind scattered remnants of lettuce shrapnel & broken 45s,  that followed the sunset deep into the desert."
